The profile C1 rod seal meets the requirements of the manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for seals with the smallest possible housings. Although cross-sections and heights are very small the sealing performance is excellent.
Extremely low friction is experienced because of the short contact of the sealing surface area. Back-up rings or brackets are not required because of the special design. Applications in pneumatic systems with lubricated pressurized air are possible.
